Mineralogical Museum
The Mineralogical Museum of the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) is situated in
Otaniemi, Espoo (about 8 km west of the centre of Helsinki).
The Museum is open to the Public during working days from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please note that the museum is temporarily closed from 1.11.2003 for a year due to moving to new premises.
About 3000 specimens of minerals, rocks, ores, fossils and gems are displayed. The
collection of orbicular rocks is of special interest.
