Areas of expertise:

I work as a Research scientist at the Geological Survey of Finland with over ten years of expertise studying the environmental issues of mining. I specialise in mine water related emissions. I completed my dissertation thesis on the same subject at the University of Helsinki in 2025: Employing of hydrological, geochemical and isotopic research methods to ensure environmental compliance throughout the life of a mine. In addition to science, I have experience also in national and international project management and coordination of networks.
