Finland generates 74% of its waste as extractive waste, but this challenge is also an opportunity! How can the circular economy be integrated as an integral part of mining operations? Why do stakeholders from outside the extractive sector also play a key role and have significant opportunities in solving this challenge?

The CINTEM project is exploring a new approach to combining digitalisation, material efficiency, and business models already at the mine planning stage.

Welcome to the project event to discuss the future of mining and the opportunities of the circular economy together across sector boundaries.

The event is intended for stakeholders in the extractive sector as well as organisations from all industries interested in new opportunities to address circular economy challenges related to mining.

The event language is both Finnish and English. Refreshments will be served. The event will not be recorded, and remote participation is not available.
