Mineral intelligence 2 (MI2)

Introduction

The project focuses on research on critical and strategic raw material value chains, future scenarios research, including secondary raw materials, emerging technologies, and future raw material demand. Project objectives include assessing the market potential of Finland’s future mineral deposits, advancing the use of artificial intelligence in mineral intelligence research, and continuing the updating of the NODD database. The project collects and analyzes data on the accessibility, use, and socio-economic and environmental impacts of critical and strategic raw materials, produces information products to support decision-making, and strengthens expertise in value chain and foresight research.
