Introduction
The project includes the design and implementation of the Koillismaa Deep Hole. The deep hole is a drill hole that has a maximum depth of 3 kilometers. When completed, it will serve as a test environment for several of GTK’s strategic areas. The Koillismaa Deep Hole is a GTK self-financed project. Deep hole-project enables GTK’s and its partners research in geophysics, geological modelling, geonergy and microbiology.
