GTK, Aalto University and VTT: How to Ensure Finland Captures the Multi‑Billion Growth Potential of Mineral Economy

Finland is rising to the forefront of the mineral economy through new research initiatives and closer collaboration. Beyond economic growth, strengthening the mineral economy enhances Finland’s and Europe’s self‑sufficiency and security of supply – both for the green transition and the defence sector. VTT, Aalto University and the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) have formulated a set of measures to improve Finland’s competitiveness and strengthen Europe’s security of supply.
