Bedrock Fracturing – Solutions for Customers

Introduction

This project aims to integrate the different research areas within the new ERR unit; structural geology, hydrogeology and geothermal research. The different work packages within the project aims to independently enhance the knowhow within their study area and at the end of the four year project period especially increase GTK knowledge about fractured rock, Discrete Fracture Modelling (DFN) and hydrological pathways in fractured bedrock. The main goal during the four year project is to enhance the knowledge in GTK new focus areas, and thus gain more domestic and international projects within the scope of the ERR unit.
