Introduction

In the Sustainable land use and construction project, we develop:
• Methods for 3D modelling of geological features in urban environment
• The database and service for ground investigations
• Characterisation of clay deposits, with a special focus on sulphate sediments
• Statistical methods for machine learning for soil information
• Rock and mineral data for improving resource efficiency and promoting the circular economy of growth centres

Geodata and modelling methods will be used in innovative ways to find solutions for land use planning and for challenges related to earthworks and construction.
