I am a solid earth geophysicist and since October 2026 a member of the GTK geoenergy team. I became a doctor at the University of Helsinki in autumn 2014 and worked there with Fennoscandian heat flow and heat production data, using the geochemical database by GTK and materials of the Geological Survey of Sweden (SGU). At that time I studied, for example, the correlation of the geothermal properties of the bedrock and the depth of earthquakes. I have experience from seismic monitoring of geothermal projects, and I have also done stakeholder collaboration particularly with the municipal sector. In my current work I participate in advancing new projects in the fascinating world of geoenergy.
